Many passenger and freight trains en route made emergency stops.
Due to the paralysis of road traffic, the railway department has provided passengers with 9,400 meals and 6,100 side dishes free of charge.
The railway department continues to apply for the closure of the Yao Tri-Quy Nhon railway line for repairs.
Regarding the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City railway line, some sections remain damaged. In some locations, the floodwaters have receded, and relevant units are actively carrying out repairs to restore traffic as soon as possible.
